Discovering Mallorca Hotels

Mallorca offers an astonishing variety of landscapes from the mountain ranges in the east and west through Es Pla, an agricultural plain of rolling countryside, to the wide sweeping bays of Palma and Pollença. This small yet diverse island is peppered with centuries-old villages and rural trekking routes through dramatic mountains which whilst stunningly beautiful also offer protection from the sea storms that can roll in during the winter months.

The excellent road network makes it a pleasure to travel from the sophisticated capital, Palma, to most points of the island in not much more than an hour. This gives swift access to the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains, Pollença and her beaches in the north, and the depths of rural Mallorca, with its plethora of picturesque villages amid a patchwork of fields, which still depend upon the island’s agriculture to make their living. To the south and east there are the gorgeous white sands and the crystal clear waters of Platja Es Trenc – popular with all bathers, including those wanting an all-over tan!

Our portfolio of hotels in Mallorca offers something for most budgets, tastes and needs.

The simple, but friendly beach front Hostal Bahia attracts a loyal following who return each year to enjoy lazy days in Port de Pollença. Equally appealing is the Posada de Lluc in Pollença old town, which brims with history, galleries and restaurants or for a touch of luxury there is the impressive Hotel Llenaire, commanding panoramic views over the Bahia de Pollença.

Further south, few will be able to resist the natural charms of S’Olivaret near Alaró, a perfect place to escape the stresses of modern day life in the sumptuous surroundings of the Hotel S’Olivaret.

Palma makes an ideal short-break or extension to your villa holiday and where better to stay than the ‘small but perfectly formed’ Hotel San Lorenzo in the heart of the city. Finally there is the family-run Hotel Bon Sol in Illetas, just a short taxi ride from Palma. The Bon Sol is something of an institution, with loyal guests returning once, twice or even three times a year and we are delighted to include it in our extended range of hotels in Mallorca.
