7 nights Andalucía
Days 1/2:
Fly from Gatwick to Malaga, pick up your car and drive to Granada. Stay 2 nights at the 15th century Casa Morisca, situatedin the Moorish Albaicín quarter. This historic house has beenrestored, retaining many of its original features including archeswith magnificent stucco, an original Moorish water feature and woodenceilings, embellished with Arabic calligraphy.

Days 3/4/5:
A leisurely 3 hour drive to Seville, to stay 3 nights at the beautifully restored 17th century Las Casas de la Judería, in the heart of the Barrío Santa Cruz. Days 6/7: spend 2 nights relaxing at Casa de Medina, a stylish small guesthouse in the heart of the charming white-washed town of Medina Sidonia,close to Jerez.

Andalucían Highlights
  • Alhambra Palace* and Generalife Gardens in Granada.
  • Giralda Tower, Gothic Cathedral, Alcázar Palace in Seville.
  • Visit the Mezquita in Córdoba by rail (45min) or by car (2 hours).
  • Old Moorish towns of Arcos de la Frontera and Ronda.
  • Historic towns of Cádiz and Jerez.

7 nights Morocco
Days 8/9/10:
Depart Spain from Tarifa by catamaran to Tangier in Northern Morocco, where you will be met by your chauffeur/guide and driven to Fès for a 3 night stay at Dar al Andalous, situated in the ancient Medina.

Day 11:
Drive to Rabat, visiting the Roman ruins at Volubilis and the Imperial City of Meknes en route. Overnight at Villa Mandarine in Rabat.

Days 12/13/14:
After visiting the sights depart for Marrakech. Stay 3 nights at Riad Slitine , a magnificently restored 17th century riad, close to Jemma el Fna, Marrakech’s famous main square.

Day 15:
Fly back from Marrakech to London.

  • Bab el Mansour Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail in Meknes.
  • Medersa el Attarine, Dar Batha Museum.
  • Kairouine Mosque and Tanneries in Fès.
  • Royal Palace and Hassan Tower in Rabat.
  • Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Minaret, Palais el Badi, Palais de la Bahia, Dar Si Said.
  • Majorelle, Menara and Agdal Gardens in Marrakech.

Accommodation in Tangier and Chefchauen
If you would like to break your journey en route to Fès, we can arrange accommodation in the famous El Minzah hotel, a former 1930’s palace in the lively old town of Tangier.

Alternatively, stay at Casa Hassan, a peaceful inn in the centre of Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most charming little villages, where the pretty blue and white houses were painted by the descendants of Muslim refugees when they fled here from Andalucía in the 15th century.
