Royal Air Maroc (AT)
* Flights from Heathrow to Marrakech are via Casablanca with either a 40 minutes touch down or a change of an aircraft.
† via Casablanca with a change of an aircraft.

We are pleased to offer our guests the flexibility of flights from a number of UK airports, using scheduled and ’no-frills’/charter airlines, as we do not pre-purchase restrictive chartered seats in advance. Please let us know which airport(s) you would prefer to fly from and we will endeavour to find the most convenient flights for you.

Please be advised that we have to book, pay for and ‘ticket’ your flights at the time of booking, therefore we will ask you to pay an increased deposit to cover the cost of the flight in addition to the £125 per person deposit.  The exact amount will be quoted to you at the time of booking and this payment will be non-refundable

Scheduled flights
All our holidays include flights using the scheduled services of British Airways (BA) and Royal Air Maroc (RAM). Please note that the times shown opposite are local times and are correct at time of going to press but may be subject to change. All our flights are designated as non-smoking. All timings may be subject to change, so the most up-to-date timings will be confirmed to you at the time of booking.

There is a minimum of a 2 nights stay unless a Saturday night is included with both airlines.

‘No frills’/Charter flights
We may be able to offer ‘no frills’ and charter flights to Morocco.  These airlines may sometimes offer different services and booking conditions to those of scheduled airlines (eg: no meals on board), so please discuss this with us if you have any questions or concerns.  They do not usually offer the same comfort as the scheduled airlines but can sometimes be a cost effective way of travelling to Morocco, especially when booked well in advance. However, you will be required to pay for these tickets in full at the time of booking, in addition to your deposit. The exact amount will be quoted to you at the time of booking and this payment will be non-refundable.

Please note that some airlines allocate seats at check-in whilst others such as Ryanair, offer ‘free seating’ i.e. first passengers to board the aircraft get the best choice of seats. Please check with us at the time of booking if you have any concerns in this respect. Luggage allowances vary, and some airlines now ask you to pre-book your luggage at the time of reservation. Furthermore, meals are not provided but snacks and drinks can usually be purchased on board.

Connecting regional flights from your local airport
We are pleased to offer special add-on supplements for connecting flights via Heathrow and Gatwick to Morocco from many UK regional airports. These are all subject to availability and the flight supplements will be confirmed to you at the time of booking.

Connecting with British Airways flights to Morocco:
BA operates regional flights from Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Isle of Man, Jersey, Manchester and Newcastle to London connecting with BA/GB Airways flights to Morocco.

Connecting with Royal Air Maroc flights to Morocco:
British Midland operates regional flights from Glasgow, Leeds/Teeside, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin via London connecting with Royal Air Maroc flights to Morocco.

If you prefer to book your regional flights independently, then please allow ample time to collect your luggage and check-in for your onward flight, bearing in mind there may be delays.

Scheduled flight upgrades
Those passengers for whom space and comfort is a priority, we recommend upgrading to the superior services offered by the scheduled carriers in the Club Europe cabin on British Airways flights (operated by GB) and in the Zenith Class cabin on Royal Air Maroc. You will also enjoy a dedicated check-in desk, use of VIP lounges at some airports, increased baggage allowance, wider seats and superior meals and drinks. We can offer competitive fares on both airlines - please ring for a quote.

These specially negotiated Club Class fares are subject to availability and the applicable supplement will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please note that although the services provided are identical to a fullprice Club class ticket, they are non-changeable and non-refundable once booked. Prices for Club Class upgrades start at £295 per person by British Airways.

API (Additional Passenger Information)
Morocco now requires that the airline take from the passenger additional personal information such as full name, date of birth, passport number and full expiry date. We will need to ask you for this information at the time of booking.

Flight times
Our brochures are compiled many months before airline schedules are finalised and all airlines reserve the right to amend their flying schedules prior to departure. We will always advise you of any significant changes as soon as the airline or their agents notify us. The most up to date times will always be shown on your itinerary in your travel documents. Please check these documents carefully and advise us immediately of any discrepancies.

Luggage allowance
Most airlines allow 20kg of luggage per person (excluding infants) however it is becoming more common for airlines to regularly change their restrictions on luggage weight and number of items. Before travelling, we recommend you check your flight tickets for details and check with the airline if travelling on a non charter flight.

In-flight meals and special diets
If the airline you are travelling with offers free in-flight meals, requests for special meals should be made at the time of booking. Regretfully we cannot request special meals less than 7 days prior to departure. Whilst we will always pass your request onto the airline, we are unable to guarantee supply. Charges may apply and we will confirm these to you at the time of booking. For peace of mind, we recommend that you reconfirm your special in-flight meal request at check in.

Pregnancy
You will need a certificate of fitness to fly if you are more than 28 weeks pregnant and airlines will not allow you to fly if you are more than 32 weeks pregnant.

Name changes
The name shown on a ticket must exactly match the name of the passenger travelling, as it appears in his/her passport (first full name and surname). If not, you may be refused boarding. Once your flights have been booked, it is not usually possible to make name changes without incurring substantial charges. If there are any errors on your invoice or your flight tickets, please inform us immediately.

Flight delays
In the event of a flight delay, whenever possible we will ensure that the airline/operator communicates the reasons for and extent of any delays and implements appropriate standards of welfare provision.  ABTA guidelines state that after a 3 hour delay, clients should receive light refreshments followed by a main meal after six hours, plus hotel accommodation whenever possible if the delay is overnight.  EU carriers should also follow the EU Regulation 261/2004 in the event of delays, cancellations or denied boarding and these can be viewed online at www.auc.org.uk
