Marrakech and the High Atlas Mountains
Marrakech – beautiful and mysterious, is Morocco’s most exciting and magical city. Set against the High Atlas Mountains, surrounded by ochre pisé walls, the city has a rich history and architecture, reflected in its fabulous palaces, ancient kasbahs, fascinating souks and glorious gardens.

Just over an hour’s drive into the hills are the snow-capped peaks and green valleys of the Atlas Mountains. This is glorious terrain for nature lovers and hikers, or for anyone wanting to experience a way of life which has not changed in hundreds of years.

Essaouira
The pretty blue and white seaside town of Essaouira is only a 2 hour drive from Marrakech, but inside its ancient Portuguese ramparts the pace of life is relaxed and easygoing. It has long been the home to artists, writers and musicians, who integrate well with the local craftsmen and fishermen. Its pleasant climate is kept constantly in the mid 60s to 70s by the refreshing Atlantic breezes.

Agadir, Taroudannt and the Atlantic coast
The modern seaside town of Agadir enjoys an all year round temperate climate and boasts 9km of sandy beach, a good choice of shops and restaurants, as well as 3 golf-courses.

It is also a superb area for nature lovers, birdwatchers and walkers. Nearby Taroudannt, enclosed behind its redochre ramparts, is an appealing small town with colourful Berber markets.

The Beautiful South
After a spectacular drive across the High Atlas, you reach the old market town of Ouarzazate, from where you can explore the impressive kasbahs, colourful Berber villages, oases and lush palm groves of the Draa and Dades Valleys. On the edge of the Sahara the adventures begin; climb majestic sand dunes, trek by camel in the desert or spend the night in a Bedouin tent under the stars.

Imperial Cities – Fès, Meknes and Rabat
Fès, Meknes and Rabat; three great Imperial Cities with three quite different atmospheres, each city with its own beauty, customs and history. Together with Marrakech, they encompass the richness of historic Morocco. Fès also makes a great starting point for exploring the Middle Atlas Mountains or for visiting the atmospheric ruins of the Roman city at Volubilis or fascinating Meknes, the smallest but prettiest of the Imperial Cities.

Spain and Morocco – a Moorish Journey
A fascinating journey across two continents, combining the historic Moorish towns of Córdoba, Granada and Seville in Andalucía with the Imperial Cities of Fès, Meknes, Rabat and Marrakech. These flexible itineraries fly into Spain and out of Morocco or vice versa, with connecting travel by ferry or catamaran, self-drive car or chauffeur-driven car (in Morocco only).
